Requirements
What It Takes to Join
All applicants must meet the following minimum standards before being considered for partnership.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of active liquidation experience
Demonstrated hands-on experience managing residential or commercial liquidation projects from start to finish.
At least 25 completed liquidation sales
A verifiable track record of successfully completed estate sales, business closures, or equivalent liquidation events.
Experience in both residential and commercial settings preferred
Familiarity with the distinct demands of estate sales, downsizing, probate, and commercial asset liquidation is a strong advantage.
Proven ability to manage multi-day sales events
Comfort coordinating staffing, logistics, pricing, and customer flow across extended sale periods.
Service Ratings
Minimum 4.5-star average across verified review platforms
Consistent high ratings on Google, Yelp, or industry-specific platforms such as EstateSales.net or ASEL.
At least 20 verified client reviews
A meaningful volume of authentic reviews that reflect your professionalism and client satisfaction.
No unresolved complaints or disputes on record
A clean professional history with no outstanding BBB complaints, legal disputes, or client fraud allegations.
References from at least 3 past clients available upon request
Willing to provide contact information for recent clients who can speak to the quality of your work.
Certifications
ASEL Certified Estate Sale Professional (CESP) — preferred
Certification from the American Society of Estate Liquidators demonstrates formal training and industry commitment.
NAELA or state-equivalent probate awareness training
Understanding of probate law basics and how they affect estate liquidation timelines and asset handling.
General liability insurance — minimum $1M coverage
Active general liability policy protecting clients and their property during all phases of a sale.
Business license in your operating state(s)
Valid business registration and any required local permits for conducting liquidation sales in your service area.
Background check clearance
All partners must pass a standard background screening prior to onboarding.
